Here’s how I can help you
-

Trauma-Informed Primary Care
In BC, I can provide checkups, labs, exams, and prescriptions, or work alongside your family doctor or therapist.
Your care is always guided by a trauma-informed lens.
-

Mental Health & Trauma Recovery
Evidence-based support for anxiety, depression, burnout, cPTSD, PMDD, and disordered eating. I also offer Trauma Recovery Coaching, a counselling-like approach focused on building strength and resilience. Available whether you’re in BC or elsewhere.
-

HAES-Aligned Performance & Weight Care
Body‑neutral coaching on movement, nutrition, and metabolism. Navigate PMDD or disordered eating while building strength and stamina without diet‑culture pressure.
-

Psychedelic Therapy Preparation & Integration
Prep, integrate, or recover from psychedelic journeys safely with compassionate, science-backed guidance.
-

Medical Abortion (≤ 11 weeks)
Virtual, confidential, and judgment-free care for medical abortion up to 11 weeks. No ultrasound needed in most cases, quick prescriptions, and trauma‑informed follow‑ups.
-

Medication Support (Psychiatric + Weight Care)
Start, adjust, or taper psych and weight‑loss meds with clear answers, lab insight, and zero shame.
-
While many naturopathic doctors avoid these conversations, my advanced training in naturopathic psychiatry allows me to integrate them into your care.
I focus on using the lowest effective dose, always alongside trauma-informed and integrative strategies.
-
My philosophy is rooted in trauma-informed care for everyone, whether you identify as a trauma survivor or not. I prioritize your sense of safety, building resilience, and learning to listen to what your nervous system is telling you, without ever forcing anything.
-
Most NDs address hormones and mental health separately; I combine them, recognizing their deep connection to your nervous system.
We build a plan that's safe, truly for you, and something you can actually stick with. It always works with your medications and therapy.
-
From confidential medical abortion care to body-neutral HAES-informed weight support, and safe, evidence-informed guidance for psychedelic journeys, I offer a space where you can explore sensitive health topics with respect and compassion, using the latest research and trauma-informed practices.

Here’s to medicine that works, from a doctor who listens.
If you’ve ever left a doctor’s office in tears, this care is different. It’s collaborative. It’s grounded in science and your lived experience.
I’m Dr. Jessica Eastman, a trauma-informed naturopathic doctor who works hard to create an environment that is accepting, non-judgmental, and meets you where you’re at.
In addition to offering the full scope of naturopathic care, I provide medication support, specialized trauma recovery coaching, and truly integrated mental healthcare. All in one place.

Open, judgment-free conversations
Flexible plans that fit your life and feel sustainable
Collaboration with your other providers so you’re not piecing it together alone
Offering in-person and virtual support
My office is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver.
Can’t make it into the office? I’ve got you covered with telemedicine.
Start feeling better, one easy step at a time.
I provide 15-minute, free conversations so you can talk things through with someone who listens and knows how to help.
How these conversations work
Step 1: Pick a time to chat
Choose a time that works. Most folks can find spots as early as one week out.
Step 2: Tell me what’s going on
We’ll chat by phone or video. You talk, I listen. No need to overthink it.
Step 3: Get a sense of next steps
I’ll share what support might look like and cost. You can ask any questions you like.
Step 4: We see how you feel
If it feels right, we’ll book your first visit. If not, or you need more time, no biggie. I’ll be here.
Not sure what kind of help you need? That’s okay.
I offer free calls as a space to explore, not commit to anything.
No referral needed. Virtual and in-person options available.
Inclusive, anti-oppressive care
My practice is built on intersectional feminism, anti-oppression, and a deep commitment to justice, creating a safe, judgment-free space for everyone. I explicitly welcome and support LGBTQ2S+ individuals, BIPOC communities, sex workers, and all marginalized groups often overlooked in traditional medical settings.
