What to expect when you join:

  • Thriving Beyond Trauma is a five-session course. Each pre-recorded session contains a slide deck and a 60-90 minute lecture, including tips and tools that you can implement right away.

  • You will get access to the full course as soon as it’s released, and you will have access to the course content for as long as you want.

  • Note: The course is built for folks that don’t have a medical background, but it is dense with concepts and content. Whenever we are talking about trauma it’s important to move slowly and allow for as much time as the nervous system needs to process and integrate. I’d suggest that you plan for one session a week, to allow for time to process the material and figure out how to integrate the concepts and incorporate the suggestions into your life

Meet Dr. Jessica Eastman

I am a trauma-informed Naturopathic Doctor and Trauma Recovery Coach.

I believe that the mind and body are intricately and intimately linked, and we cannot heal one without the other. Medicine that focuses on identifying problems in the body or the mind exclusively is limited, outdated, and not your best chance at feeling the way you want to feel.

I believe that taking care of humans means meeting them where they’re at, which is why I believe so strongly in trauma-informed care; this means that I show up with compassion for how we are all struggling and with consideration for the challenging aspects of life.

My practice is built upon my medical training, the naturopathic principles, and nine years of experience practicing and teaching, and is blended with the most up-to-date, gentle, and supportive therapy, counseling trauma-informed and integrative practices for supporting mental health.

I am body-positive, sex-positive, feminist, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive, and work hard to stay informed of my biases and privilege and to create a safe, healing, and learning space for any human in need.

I believe my role is to empower you with the tools and strength to be able to learn, heal, and grow and I LOVE my job. Your body knows how to heal; we just have to remove the obstacles in its path and make sure it has the tools it needs to move forward.
